COOK / CHILL TANKS

These multi-purpose machines quickly chills hot liquids and automates cooking and chilling for vacuum-packaged products. Available in various capacities, cook / chill tanks eliminate the need for bulky ice builders or glycol systems with its integral chilled water generator and remote refrigeration compressor, ensuring efficient operation and space-saving design for commissaries.

LINEAR CHILLERS

For the commissary desiring high volume continuous or batch, cooling or chilling, hermetically sealed pouches, tubs, trays or bowls to 40°F. Available in 1, 2 or 3 independent chill lanes providing combined throughput capacities from 200 to 5,000 gallons per hour. The process water is maintained at 33°F by submerged evaporator coils directly connected to remote refrigeration. Air agitation assures uniform water temperature throughout and provides gentle agitation of the product. Product is moved through and out of the tank on demand by a cleated conveyor.

Batch Chillers

The TUCS BATCH CHILLER is designed for low to medium volume food processor or food service commissary desiring to rapidly chill hot clipped casings, heat sealed pouches and/or membrane sealed tubs/ bowls/trays. The Tucs batch chiller is a simple air agitated tank providing efficient immersion cooling of packaged products. Process water is maintained at chill temperatures through the use of submerged evaporator coils directly coupled to the refrigeration compressor(s). A switch-activated floor lifts cooled product from chiller bath for easy and safe removal.
